Muhammad Ali’s former Italian Renaissance Mansion in Los Angeles is up for auction. The bidding start on Friday and closing on May 15.
It design through architect John C. Austin, the 100-year-old property housed Ali. His family until 1984 and hosted celebrities like Sylvester Stallone and Michael Jackson. Previous owners of mansion include notable figures like A.P. Giannini and King C. Gillette. Current owners bought the home for $2.5 million in 2001. It’s now on the market for $13.5 million. The LA based auction, managed by Concierge Auctions, has a current ask of $8 million and a bid of $7,750,000, closing on May 15th.
It situate in affluent Hancock Park on 1.6 acres of land. The 10,500-square-foot mansion boasts European-inspired design and luxurious amenities.
Muhammad Ali owned the home from 1979-1984. It is alongside celebrity neighbours like Mae West and Clark Gable.
